Before we dive into the learning objectives for your specific course, we first need to get a good understanding of what learning objectives are.
Now that you've identified four learning objectives, we will now focus on the cognitive domain that is taking place.
After creating a learning objective and aligning it to a domain of Bloom's Taxonomy, it is essential to make sure it's measurable. A learning objective cannot be "Learners will understand the difference between online and hybrid courses" as this is too generic. A measurable learning objective is one that can be evaluated. For example, "Learners will recognize the three THECB rules that classify a course as Online or Hybrid."
For the final activity, you'll be addressing the learning objectives that were identified as NOT measurable. Using the knowledge you've obtained in activities two and three, please revise these objectives so that they're Specific, Observable, and Measurable. Please review the material to ensure they contain all pieces necessary to meet this standard. These revisions should be added to the "Revised Objective" Column in the excel template. Your facilitator will use the Evaluation Rubric to assess your revisions. Following QM Rules, you will have two attempts to "Meet Standard."
