Baby B Safe Class

Working with a collaborative group of St. Luke's employees from various backgrounds, I was able to be part of creating a class and curriculum for new parents. The Baby B Safe class launched January 2018 and features first aid for infants, growth and development learning, a safety course with hazards outlined by room, and a tutorial about available safety products. My role in this project was to collect information about what infant safety products are available at a variety of stores in the Treasure Valley and create checklists for each store, complete with brand names and prices. This example is the checklist I made from Babies R'Us.

In addition, I also researched available apps that pertain to safety in the home and safety for young children. This app, called Make Safe Happen and distributed by Nationwide Insurance, is one that I found to be very informative to help parents get their home childproofed.
