Coordinator and Fusion Specialist
This week, we worked on versions 1 and 2 of the worm gear and created three additional gears for the helmet. We also improved the EEG design in Autodesk Fusion 360 while working through the process of developing a solution for the design.
Electronics Specialist and Lead Designer
For this week, I remade the electrical schematic and began redesigning the DRL circuits to improve system performance. I also worked on adding ADCs and implementing filter stages to improve signal quality and reduce noise. These updates required reviewing and modifying the design to better integrate with the overall system and improve reliability.
Lead Coder and Technical Documentation Lead
This week, I decided to switch back to C++ as the coding language based on our teacher’s advice, since I am more comfortable working with it. With this change, I began researching specific parts of the code, including the pulseIn() function and bandpass filters. I also found examples online for both of these, which can be implemented into the code developed in Week 4. I also began working finding a soultion.
