Learn more about IHSA Musical Theatre Revue below and how to get involved.
Musical Theatre Revue is an IHSA Drama Competitive Activity in which 3-6 students present a 10-minute musical selection(s) from a published score(s) written for musical theatre. No live music may be used, only pre-recorded tracks without background vocals. No technical elements may be used such as costumes, set, lighting, props, etc. and may only use a table and up to 6 chairs. The performance will be recorded and submitted for judges to critique. There are no live performances for IHSA MTR.Â

An application will go out sometime in December. Those who apply and are chosen for MTR will get to choose what show and song(s) they will perform for MTR. Until then, get excited as this is the first year we're doing MTR! Please note that anyone who wants to participate in the Group Interp production of Dead Poets Society may also participate in MTR.
