Monday:
Design - Preparing to generate final box
Design - Modeling prototype lock, that should work upon first try
This would be in the build and test phase of the design process because the MIT App Inventor interface will act as our user interface in our final product, allowing customers to interact with it in order to scan their fingerprints and load it into the system. The code will need multiple tests and reiterations to obtain the desired result for the final product.
Tuesday:
Design - Preparing to use laser cutter
Design - Editing final Fusion design
Wednesday:
Build - 3D Printing Components
This would be in the build and test phase of the design process because the code for the HM-10 connecting with the Arduino is a significant aspect of the design and needs testing and evaluations to make sure the Bluetooth module can connect to the Arduino and to the user interface, allowing for easy use for customers.
Build - Getting ready to laser cut our finger jointed walls
Thursday:
Build - Recieved components
Evaluate - Redesign rod
Friday:
Goals for next week:
Successfully connect HM-10 module to Chromebook/mobile with MIT App Inventor
Finish manufacturing first box
Develop the user interface to be prepared to connect with fingerprint sensor
