Traditional lockers often struggle with reliability in terms of security and convenience, as they are susceptible to lost keys or forgotten combinations. Additionally, their locks can be picked, cut open with bolt cutters, or, in some cases, easily forced open with enough impact. This project proposes a biometric locker system that incorporates a fingerprint scanner, touchscreen interface, and computerized access control to offer a more secure, user-friendly, and dependable storage solution. By allowing seamless locker rental and access through biometric authentication and an app, the system enhances convenience while significantly reducing security risks. Its unique design makes it unpickable, and requires lots of force to breach.
