Through our over-arching theme of 'Experience the past...Shape the future' children will explore:

• How the World around them is constantly changing.

• Personal histories (including friendships, relationships) and how this helps to shape their identity.

• How conflict and resolution can lead to change, and the role adversity, adaptation and resilience plays within this.

• The value of choice, democracy and justice on our society.

• The relationship between and the interconnectedness of individuals and civilizations, from local and global perspectives. 

• How humans use their understanding of scientific principles to impact on societal change and how wealth impacts upon this.

• The impact of scientific and technological advances on society and on the environment and the ethics that arises.
