During the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, children have been limited in their abilities to connect with peers due to social distancing practices. The research is particularly focused on learning about how parents can best support their children’s peer relationships during the pandemic, as well as how peer support can serve a protective role as youth deal with the challenges associated with COVID-19. The study is funded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD).
