Dr. Paul Thomas

Dr. Paul Thomas is Assistant Professor of Music and Coordinator of Music Theory and Composition at Texas Woman’s University. As a composer, Paul’s works have been performed at conferences, festivals, and venues throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. His choral and vocal music is published through Hal Leonard, Carl Fischer, E.C. Schirmer, and BriLee Press.

Paul is also one of the hosts of Note Doctors, a podcast where he gets to nerd-out about music theory pedagogy with music theory instructors from around North America. Paul was the recipient of the Texas Woman’s University Innovation in Academia Award in 2020.
