Welcome to the Myers-JHG Tutoring and Academic Support Center in the College of Nursing on the Dallas campus! Our tutoring and academic support is focused on student success. We offer services including tutoring, supplemental instruction, and other related services to promote academic success of our undergraduate nursing students at no cost to students. Our services assist students to attain a deeper understanding of course material and provide students with study skills and strategies to apply in their coursework. Academic support provides tutoring by trained peer tutors for a variety of courses.
We are excited to offer these academic support services to the College of Nursing students! We offer group virtual tutoring sessions. Individual tutoring sessions may be requested. See policies for more information.

Tutoring and Academic Support Center Overview
The Myers-JHG Tutoring and Academic Support Center offers TWU Dallas College of Nursing students FREE tutoring for the following undergraduate nursing courses in the Spring 2025 Semester:
Junior I courses: NURS 3193 Foundations, NURS 3153 Health Assessment, and NURS 3813 Pharmacology
Junior II courses: NURS 3233 Collaborative Care of the Adult, NURS 3243 Childbearing Family
Senior I courses: NURS 4043 Complex Adult Care, NURS 4053 Pediatrics
Each peer tutor will offer weekly group tutoring sessions for selected courses. Additionally, individual tutoring sessions may be scheduled for one-hour blocks which includes tutoring and session evaluation (ONLY if the group session has been attended).
