Setting Up the Student Profile

After the initial intake is complete with the student, the application needs to be transferred to a user profile. There are two pieces to a student's page within myDSS, the user profile and the student profile. 

User Profile:
This is the piece that connects to Colleague and includes demographic information on the student. We all have a user profile. Note: if the student needs housing accommodations, this piece is added through the user profile under "Overview". 

Student profile:
This is the page that we set up accommodations, called eligibilities, in myDSS, along with setting up the primary advisor, disability information, etc. We can create AT profiles, helpful when talking tech, and preferences for alt text.

Temporary Approval (temporary disabilities only)
