Panopto Mobile App

Panopto is a lecture capture application that is used to create recordings of classroom-based activities that are made available for review in your Canvas course.

Install the Panopto Mobile App

1. Download and install the Panopto Mobile App from the Apple Store for an iPad or iOS device.

2. Download and install the Panopto Mobile App from Google Play for an Android device.

Getting Started with the Panopto Mobile App

1. To log into the Panopto Mobile App:

   • On the Sign in to Panopto page, click more options (3 dots) at the top-right of the page

   • Select Enter a site manually

   • Enter the Site address twu.hosted.panopto.com, click Next,

   • On the Confirmation page, click Continue

   • Click Sign in, ​​​​​​

   • On the Log In page, enter your TWU Portal Name and Password and click Sign in.

   • NOTE: Using an adjustable cell phone stand to hold the cell phone horizontally to create Panopto Recordings is recommended.

   • NOTE: It can take several hours for the Panopto Recording to be processed and available for viewing. Contact Canvas Support if your Panopto Recording remains unavailable after 24 hours.

3. Contact an Instructional Designer to design learning activities for students, for training to use Panopto features, or to talk about effective ways to interact with students using lecture capture in your Canvas courses.
