2. Canvas Quick Tips: How to Add and Edit Auto Captions in Panopto (CFS Video) - The Panopto editor can be used to import auto-captions of your Panopto recordings. While captions are a great way to make your video content accessible to student, auto-generated captions often contain errors. In this video, you will learn how to add and edit auto-generated captions in Panopto recording to ensure your Panopto recorded videos are accessible for all learners.

NOTE: It can take up to 2 hours after the Panopto recording has been processed for the Import Automatic Captions option to be available for selection.

Allow Students to Create Panopto Recordings

1. Allow students to create recordings in your course How to Allow Viewers to Record Videos Using Assignment Folders

NOTE: An assignment folder is a sub folder that shares its user list with its parent folder but gives the users some additional privileges. Assignment folders enable Viewer users in their parent folder to create and manage their own content while preventing them from viewing other users' content that has not been explicitly shared or made public.
