Steps to use Attendance (Roll Call) in Canvas.
To use the Attendance (Roll Call) tool in Canvas, it must first be added to the Course Navigation menu:
Open Course Settings: Navigate to your course and click on Settings in the Course Navigation menu.
Manage Course Navigation Links - Click on the Navigation tab at the top of the page.
Enable Attendance Link - Find the Attendance link in the list of disabled items. Drag and drop it into the list of enabled items at the top of the page.
Save Changes - Scroll down and click the Save button to apply the changes.

Once you've enabled the Attendance link, it will appear in your Course Navigation menu, allowing you to access the Roll Call Attendance tool:
Access Attendance Tool - After the tool is enabled, you can find it in the Course Navigation menu by clicking the Attendance link. This link is visible only to instructors and not to students.
Configure Roll Call Settings - You can edit the Roll Call settings by clicking the Settings icon and then the Roll Call Settings button. Here, you can choose to exclude the Roll Call assignment from the final grade and adjust the lateness value.
