The logo for Laoshi’s Lounge features two stylized “L”s that form the shape of a chair, symbolizing a welcoming and comfortable space.
The name Laoshi, which means “teacher” in Mandarin, is included to reflect the focus on teaching in Taiwan, as it resonates with the local culture and context, making it more relatable and welcoming for students and teachers in Taiwan.
The name Lounge reflects the vision of creating a relaxed and supportive environment where teachers can come together to access resources, share ideas, and collaborate on teaching English.
Laoshi's Lounge has three spaces namely: Look at Laoshi; Laoshi's Lounge; and Learn with Laoshi.
