About me

Hi! I'm Jaffrey Sultan, and I'm from a small state in India called Nagaland. I'm currently working as a Foreign English Teacher Assistant (FETA) at Yongfeng Elementary School in Changhua County, Taiwan. 

I first came to Taiwan to pursue my MBA degree. During that time, I came across the ELTA program, where I worked part-time as an English Language Teaching Assistant in a public school in Kaohsiung. That's pretty much how my teaching journey began. No, seriously! Who knew I'd actually enjoy and find contentment in teaching tiny chaotic monsters? I suppose I should give credit to their cuteness. 

In all seriousness, though, I do enjoy being a teacher. Knowing that my contribution can make a difference, however small, in the lives of the students I cross paths with is what drove me to take on this journey. 

All that said, welcome to my very first website. This is where I will be sharing experiences, teaching resources, and things I find helpful in my own classes. I hope anyone who visits my page will be able to find something useful for their classrooms, too.
