Online teaching session by Ms. Tara from Australia.
Every Wednesday afternoon, we attend workshops where teachers or guest speakers share valuable insights on different educational topics. Although the sessions are in the local language, my local English teacher helps me understand the key points. These workshops help me grow professionally, learn new teaching strategies, understand the local culture better, and feel more connected and supported as part of the school community.
On the other hand, I will be conducting an English workshop for the teachers, directors, and principal every fourth Thursday of the month. Through these sessions, I hope to help them improve their English skills, which they can use in daily communication especially when traveling abroad or engaging with international guests. These workshops will also boost their confidence in using English professionally, enhance their teaching abilities, and encourage a culture of lifelong learning. For me, it's a meaningful opportunity to share my knowledge, practice leadership, strengthen professional relationships, and grow as an educator in a multicultural environment.
I was assigned to the registration section, where I guided guests and parents to the Sports Day ceremony venue. During the event, the teachers and staff also participated in a tug-of-war and a ball-throwing game against the parents.
The English area in the flea market prepared cards for a matching game and an activity where students find the differences between two pictures. Students received cookies as they played.
