My name is Angel Mae L. Calawod.

          I’m a foreign English teacher at Wanlai Elementary School. I’m originally from the Philippines and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education, majoring in English, from the University of Antique. Before coming to Taiwan, I spent nearly three years teaching English to Senior High School students back in the Philippines. 

          Teaching has always been my passion, ever since I was a child. I’m deeply committed to sharing the knowledge and experiences I’ve gained over the years, helping my students not only improve their English skills but also grow in confidence and curiosity about the world around them. Moving to Taiwan has been an exciting opportunity for me to expand my horizons, and I’m thrilled to be here, continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
