Kawameeh Daily Loaners Policy

Borrow/Return Procedure

Daily Loaners will be issued during the first period of the day

• If the time changes for any reason:

  • An announcement will be made during morning announcements

  • An email will go out to the staff noting the change in time

  • An announcement will be posted on all Library Google Classrooms for students

Daily Loaners MUST be returned by the end of the school day

Eligibility for a daily loaner

• Student forgot their Chromebook  

• Student forgot to charge their Chromebook 

Ineligibility for a daily Chromebook: 

• Intentional, repetitive destruction of CB's 

• Excessive use of daily loaners 

• Not returning daily loaner

It is the responsibility of all students to bring their charged Chromebooks to school with them every day. Students who fail to do so will be considered unprepared. 

The first & second times a student borrows a Chromebook:

• A note will be made in Genesis that they were unprepared because they forgot to bring or charge their Chromebook

The third time a student borrows a Chromebook:

• A note will be made in Genesis that they were unprepared a third time 

• The student will be sent to speak to Mr. Malanda or Ms. Lorenzo

If a student forgets to bring or charge their Chromebook more than 3 times:

• The student will no longer be allowed to borrow a Daily Loaner
