Virtual meetings are a critical component of virtual learning. Remember, even though you may be home when attending a Zoom or Google Meet, you are still in a classroom environment! It's important to follow certain procedures to ensure that you get the most out of each virtual meeting.

Google Classroom Etiquette

Google Classroom will be the main platform you will use to receive lesson content and submit your work. Just like an in-person classroom, there are certain policies and procedures one should abide by when working in a virtual classroom.

Email Etiquette

Writing an email is a skill that you will continue to use throughout the rest of your life! It's important to follow email etiquette guidelines in order to communicate effectively and clearly with others.

**As a result of the pandemic, we may have a remote learning opportunities through the use of video communication. It is important that we continue to respect the privacy and intellectual property rights of our school community – our teachers and our students. While participating in remote learning, you may not save, record, share, or post any virtual meetings or any photos from these virtual sessions. The rules in school apply to your remote classroom experience as well. Students must treat each other with respect during our time together and must obey school rules. If you or your parents do not agree to these rules, please disconnect from your virtual session and contact me immediately.**
