Ms. Robinson’s Teacher Bio:
A Little-Bit About Me
My name is Kay Robinson and I am the VAPA Chair person and teacher of Visual Arts at Grant High School. I have enjoyed working as a Grant High School Teacher since 2008. I have lived in Sacramento California for most of my life. In fact, I received most of my education in Sacramento. I attended California State University in Sacramento where I received my Bachelor of Art Degree and minored in English. I also received my Teacher Credential and Administration Credential at CSUS. I currently teach beginning art, three-dimensional art, advance and intermediate. I have been teaching and guiding teenage youth for over three decades within the Northern Valley and Bay Area. I love to work with teenage youth. My goal is to encourage and motivate them in a positive direction through showing them artistic skills and coaching them to express their very best artistic talent. For 15 years I have volunteered my time to Grant High Students as an adviser of the Pacer Art Club. This club provides a safe place for students to be creative by using their artistic talent to share with one another and to have the courage to display art to their community. I enjoy watching it happen and encourage it as well. I love this Grant High Community which makes me a Pacer 4 Life.
