& Re-Enrollments

If your student was dis-enrolled from FHS and has not been attending a high school within TRUSD for the 2022-2023 school year, please follow the steps listed under New Enrollments.

All applications must be submitted ONLINE.

Enrollment Process:

Similar to the emergency card, the online enrollment application ensures our location has the must up-to-date information for all students. 

As such, students that are transferring to FHS from another high school site within TRUSD, during the current 2022-2023 school year must still complete the online enrollment application

Documents needed to complete transfer back to FHS:

This is required for all students enrolling from a High School within TRUSD (Grant, Highlands, Keema, CCAA, or Rio Linda) 

Students that have been dis-enrolled may also need to meet with a member of our Administration and Attendance Team before a start date is provided. If a re-enrollment meeting is needed, a member of our team will contact you directly to confirm. 

Following this appointment, your student will be cleared to formally start at Foothill HS.

Students will not receive materials or a class schedule until the meeting is held with our Administration and Attendance team.

What if Foothill HS is not my home school?

Inter-district transfers and Administrative Placements are processed through the Student Services department at the district office.

If you have not received an approved transfer e-mail from me, your student is not enrolled at Foothill HS and you must continue to be patient.

What if my student was dropped?

Students that were dropped for either no attendance within the first few days of school or because we received returned mail indicating a possible address change must still follow this process. The parent or guardian must complete the online application again and submit the necessary documents needed to re-enroll the student.

What is the process to transfer TO an alternative education school?

Families must request a meeting a Foothill High School Counselor. Please contact your student's counselor at (916) 566-3445.

What is the process to transfer FROM an alt. education school?

Students should speak to their Counselor at their current school (either KHS or PHS) to sign the request form and begin the transfer request process. Students are cleared to re-enroll unless notified by Mrs. Watson via the e-mail on file at their current school.
