Mindful Monday: Student Wellness Support for Families (Workshop)
Twin Rivers Unified School District invites families, staff, and community members to join a virtual lunchtime workshop highlighting two free student wellness programs available to Twin Rivers students and families: Daybreak Health and Appa Health.

Guest Speakers:
Daybreak Health- provides confidential virtual therapy for students ages 5–19 and families, whether insured or uninsured.
Appa Health Mentorship- a free virtual mentorship program for youth ages 13–18 that connects teens with Certified Wellness Coaches to build confidence, motivation, and social-emotional skills. Support is available after school and on weekends.
Care Solace- a free, 24/7 online service that helps students, families, and staff connect to mental health providers in the community. Get matched with services like in-person or virtual therapy, family counseling, and hospitalization support.
Sacramento County Mental Health Access- a team that helps families finding mental health services for children and youth. Services include screenings, counseling referrals, and crisis support
Save the Date! Online registration forms for the 2026–2027 Elementary and TK-8 Expanded Learning Athletics Programs will open on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 12:00 pm (noon). The Athletics program will offer seven sports for TK-8 students to enjoy throughout the school year, providing opportunities for skill development, teamwork, and school spirit.
Sports offered:
Fall: Soccer, golf & cheerleading
Winter: Basketball, cross country/Track & cheerleading
Spring: Flag football (3rd-8th grade only), tennis & cheerleading

Mark your calendar! Enrollment for our 2026–2027 Before and After School programs will open online on Monday, May 4th at 12:00 PM (noon).
