Lakewood School Library

3-Year Library Plan, 2020-2023

Summary

This site functions to satisfy the Wisconsin Administrative Code PI-8.01(2)(h)1 which requires each school board to have on file a written, long-range plan for library services development which has been formulated by teachers, library, and audiovisual personnel and administrators, and approved by the school district board.

Future Ready Framework

The Lakewood School Library utilizes the research-based Future Ready Schools® (FRS) framework to develop projects that strategically build toward a larger, overarching long-term plan for the library. Our current long-term plan maps out projects intended to take place over the next 3 years (2020-2023). The FRS framework supports libraries in addressing the "gears" of the Wisconsin Digital Learning Plan.
