Looking to earn service hours, build leadership skills, and make a difference? Our volunteer program offers middle and high school students the opportunity to assist with Aftercare, Camps, and Enrichment programs throughout the year while gaining valuable experience working with younger students.
Volunteer spots are limited, and students who register are making a commitment to participate for the full term or camp session they are assigned to.
High School Students: Eligible to volunteer with Aftercare, Enrichments, and Camps.
Middle School Students: Eligible to volunteer with Enrichments and Camps.
High school students have the opportunity to assist with our Aftercare program. Volunteers will commit to helping on their selected day each week from 3:30–5:30 p.m. during the first quarter of school (August 24 through October 16).
Students are committing to 8 volunteer days on the same day each week and will earn 2 service hours for each day volunteered.
If a volunteer is unable to attend their scheduled day, they must communicate with the Aftercare Lead, Mr. Garcia, in advance.
The Enrichment Volunteer Program runs from the week of August 24 through November 6. Enrichment volunteers will assist once a week and will sign up for the day they would like to help.
Volunteers will earn 2 service hours for each day they volunteer.
Students will be placed in the enrichment classes where there is the greatest need. Volunteers will not be able to choose their placement, but we will work to find the best fit based on program needs.
If a student needs to remain on campus for Aftercare following an enrichment class, parents will need to register their student for Aftercare through FACTS and pay the applicable Aftercare fee.
Camp volunteers must commit to the entire week of camp once placements become available. Students will earn 7 service hours per day they volunteer.
Thank you for helping make our programs successful while developing leadership skills, responsibility, and a commitment to serving others!
