Stage Crew is a place where students can learn the behind-the-scenes work of putting on a show. Students in stage crew learn how to work with power tools, do set design and planning, build various stage structures and small props, and learn how to effectively collaborate with a director and cast to move sets and props for a show. Students can also specialize their interest into learning about how to operate the lights and sound for shows. They can help to build the soundscapes and lighting design concepts for the various shows of Theatre Arts Club. Students who join Stage Crew and Theatre Arts Club will earn points that accrue and allow them to join ITS and apply for contests, scholarships, and state recognition.
