Debate Club
Debate Club
Debate Club teaches students the skills they need to effectively participate in a formal debate. Researching topics and gathering facts are some of the skills emphasized. Once students have mastered these skills, they will use them to argue various debate topics, such as “students should be required to wear school uniforms.” Students will also be given the opportunity to participate in different debate formats, including Policy Debates, Public Forum Debates, and Lincoln-Douglas Debates. Anyone interested in honing their skills of persuasion are encouraged to join the Debate Club.
