Animal Science

During their senior year Ag academy students will take Animal Science and Services. This course is designed to develop competencies in the areas of:

-safety

-animal behavior

-animal welfare

-animal control

-employability skills.

Students taking the Animal Science and Services class will take the AEST- Animal Sciences Specialist Certification Exam. To pass, students must score 65% or higher. Passing students will receive 3 college credit hours for Agribusiness Management at most Florida Colleges. Follow this link for more information about the Animal Science Specialist Certification
