Standards of Practice

1. Identify and Integrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Concepts and Resources

Proficient students will be able to identify the appropriate STEM concepts and/or resources necessary to review, develop, assess and create potential solutions as they relate to various challenges, problems, and/or projects.

2. Interpret and Communicate Information and Ideas

Proficient students will be able to interpret, communicate, and present information/ideas when answering complex questions, investigating issues, and/or developing solutions for various challenges.

3. Identify and Investigate Problems and Engage in Research

Proficient students will be able to identify and examine issues then conduct research to find information or solutions to various questions, problems, and/or projects.

4. Strategic Planning, Problem Solving, and Systematic Approaches

Proficient students will be able to develop a plan of action or strategy to organize, answer or resolve various issues, problems, and/or projects.

5. Collaborate as a Team

Proficient students will collaborate as a team to research and develop ideas, answer complex questions, investigate global issues, and to design solutions for challenges and real world problems.

6. Apply Technology Appropriately

Proficient students will apply all types of technology appropriately to develop products, answer complex questions, investigate global issues, and to design solutions for challenges and real world problems.
