Course Overview

This course is designed to prepare you for studying the big ideas of calculus: modeling change, approximation and limits, and analysis of functions. As such it is a review and extension of all of your coursework in Algebra and Geometry to date. Approximately one-third of the course will focus on trigonometry, one-third the analysis of functions, and the remaining third on special topics and an introduction to limits.

Students who successfully complete the course will be well prepared for either the AP Calculus course or college level Calculus.

This course culminates in an in-class final exam. There is no state test.
