The Secret Connection Between Monsters Inc. and Brave

There are many so-called “conspiracy theories" in this world and Disney movies/shows are a common target for conspiracy theorists. This conspiracy is about these two specific movies, which are: Monsters, Inc. and Brave. The movie Monsters, Inc. has been out for a long time before Brave was released. You’re probably wondering how these two movies can somehow be connected to each other, which I am now here to explain to you how they are.

This theory is about the little girl named “Boo” in Monsters, Inc., who supposedly is the witch from Brave. The reason that this could be a possibility is because in the movie Brave there is a wood carving in the background. The wood carving in the background of one of the scenes includes a carving of “Sully” from Monsters, Inc. It could be very possible that this is true because of the time traveling doors in Monsters, Inc., “Boo” goes into the doors and at the time was very attached to Sully, but what happened to Boo when she got older? Researchers of this conspiracy theory believe that in the movie Brave, the witch remembers Sully and that’s why she has a carving of Sully in the piece of wood.  

Isn’t it crazy how “conspiracies” can end up making sense? I mean this story makes sense to me and I believe that this is true because it makes sense to me about how the little girl from Monsters had went into the time-traveling doors and no one knows what happened to her when she went through the doors and what happened to her when she was older is still a question for me. I also do believe that the reason Sully is carved into the piece of wood is because the witch clearly knows who Sully is… But why though? The reason why is because they are best friends.

Also if you think I am just some crazy person who came up with this all on my own and don’t believe me, here is a quote from an article I read and looked into written by Jon Negroni. In the article, Negroni states: “[Boo] becomes a witch, traveling across time to find Sully, not realizing that he was millennia ahead of her.” He goes on to say: “[s]o Boo goes backward, believing that finding the source of this magic will make her powerful enough to find him. She is the witch from Brave. Her love for Sully is actually the crux of the Pixar universe”. 

I can’t be the only person who thinks this theory is true. I mean there are so many Disney conspiracies, world conspiracies, crime conspiracies, and even Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. conspiracies too. Maybe this conspiracy could be wrong, but then again the theory makes perfect sense. If this were wrong I give props to the author who wrote this article and discovered this, because it is very believable and lends new understanding on how these two movies may or may not be connected.
