Band Boosters

About Us

Mountain Pointe High School Band Boosters, Inc. are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization that relies 100% on booster volunteers to remain active.  We provide many opportunities for parents to support their children's participation in the Mountain Pointe High School band program.

Volunteering with the Band Boosters is not only an excellent way to get to know other parents, but shows your child you value their involvement in the music program!

We appreciate and depend on our parent volunteers: we encourage you to get involved, and we invite you to join the Band Boosters and support your student musician as they experience the fun and learning that comes from participation in the band program.

Who We Are

The MPHS Band Boosters provide financial, logistical and physical support to the Mountain Pointe High School band program which includes Advanced Music Study & Performance (Wind/Brass), Jazz Ensemble, Percussion Class, Winter Guard and the Lionhearts Marching Band.

What We Do

Boosters raise funds for the band program - particularly through our large "signature" event, hosting the Div1 AzMBA State Marching Championships annually in November.  We also take photos and videos at music events, serve as chaperones for off-campus performances and competitions, provide meals during late night rehearsals, sell tickets and concessions at concerts, help move equipment and instruments for marching events,  and much, much more.

How Can We Help You?

The first year in band can be a lot to take in, but early involvement as a parent can help you navigate the marching and concert seasons like a pro! You will meet other parents, get to know the students and work side by side with your child.

The Band Boosters meet monthly throughout the school year in the MPHS Band Room. Meeting schedules are sometimes subject to change - please visit the calendar page and watch for email and text reminders announcing schedule updates.
