Laidlaw 2025 Malaysia Trip

About Me

Hi all! My name is Sandy, and I'm a rising senior at Tufts majoring in Biology and Community Health, on the pre-med track. This summer, I was one of the recipients of the Laidlaw Scholarship, which allowed me to spend six weeks in Malaysia. This e-portfolio documents my experiences conducting research, volunteering, and participating in surgical workshops throughout my time abroad.

Thank you to Andrew Singleton and Dr. Jahanfar for making this all happen, and Prof. Wong and Dr. Tan for mentoring me during my stay! I hope this e-portfolio will inspire future students to step out of their comfort zone and pursue a learning experience abroad.
