For Animated Pause Ads
Think “living poster” instead of a mini-commercial.
Ad creative should comfortably live in the pause, not disrupt it.
Prioritize visual storytelling over traditional display creative.
Aim for ambient motion, like a high-end billboard.
Use motion to make a statement, not to shout.
Animation should feel intentional and elegant.
Strike a balance between engaging and subtle motion.
Create exciting, perfect visual loops to draw viewer attention.
Design for sound-off, not muted.
Create visuals that are clearly understandable without audio.
Use motion to draw focus to your subject.
Lean on short, catchy copy to make a point.
What to avoid:
Don’t repurpose standard TV spots—they feel tonally jarring in the Pause Ad environment.
Stay away from rapid cuts, fast-paced typography, and large elements flying across the screen.
Avoid high-saturation flashes or strobes and extreme color contrasts.
