Dadanast’ada Parents, Guardians, and Members of our School Community,
We have reached the end of Semester 1 for the 2024-2025 school year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our parents, community members, nation partners, MHHS staff, and most importantly, our students for making this semester a successful one. We will be having our Semester 1 Awards Assembly on Thursday January 23 starting at 2:00.
Our Social Studies 30-1/30-2 students recently completed both parts of the diploma exam. In total, we had 29 students complete the exam for semester 1. Students are finishing up core course assignments this week, with the last day for semester 1 classes on Friday, January 24. Exam week starts for all students (including Grade 9) on Monday January 27 to Thursday January 30. Friday, January 31 is a Professional Development Day for MHHS staff and a day off for students. Students who miss exam times, will be required to contact the school office to reschedule during exam week. Buses will run all week, and we will have a Tsuutina Education Van doing two runs each day to transport students home if they finish exams early.
Semester 2 begins on Monday February 3 with a brief orientation, student scheduling, and core classes.
If you have any questions regarding Scheduling for Semester 2 or student support for Semester 1, including exams and assignments, please do not hesitate to contact the office or email me directly at thomas.henderson@tsuutinaeducation.com
