The Cybersecurity program at TSTC prepares students for a variety of entry-level careers in the field with practical, hands-on training. Students are trained to use cyber security tools, analyze, security events, and implement security measures that protect computer systems against unauthorized access, modifications and destruction. The Cybersecurity program offers an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Cybersecurity, an Advanced Technical Certificate (ATC) in Digital Forensics, and 2 Certificates of Completion. the program's emphasis is critical/analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in a hands-on lab environment. in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) Program
The National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) program is managed by NSA's National Cryptologic School. Federal partners include the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)/National Initiative on Cybersecurity Education (NICE), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the Department of Defense Office of the Chief Information Officer (DoD-CIO), and U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM).
