VALUE OF EACH SCHOLARSHIP 

• Diploma: RM7,500 per academic year

• Degree: RM11,000 – RM12,000 per academic year (subject to course)

Successful applicants (for the first round) will be contacted for in-person interviews in Ipoh between 16/11/2026-20/11/2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified for interview. Travel expenses will be provided.

SELECTION CRITERIA

When considering each application, the Management Committee of the Foundation will take into account:

•⁠   the applicant’s financial position

•⁠   academic achievements 

•⁠  ⁠attributes which indicate that the applicant is likely to become a contributing citizen

•⁠  ⁠personal qualities and character like leadership, initiative, determination, responsibility or kindness, and how they have been demonstrated

•⁠  ⁠achievements in non-curricular activities including sports; and/or community involvements and activities

•⁠  the completeness of the form filled and personal statement, completeness of documents detailing financial background

•⁠  preference given to applicants attending local public universities and tertiary institutions

APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING: 

• ⁠Be a Malaysian citizen and resident

• Show financial need for the scholarship support

• Fulfil the academic and other conditions required in taking up a place at one of the local public universities or tertiary institutions

• Obtain good academic results for Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

• ⁠Possess a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.80 and above for undergraduates who are currently studying  in local colleges/universities

• Willing to give up scholarship/study loan from any other organisation and take up the TSLLSF Scholarship only

• PDPA Consent Form and Declaration by Parent/Guardian (Duly Signed)

Household Income 

• Latest Financial Statement of Business; or

• Tax Filing / Salary Slip or Declaration Certified by Penghulu

• Current EPF Statement

Household Expenditure (if any)

• House Instalment / Rental receipt

• Loan repayment (Car/Motor-bike/Appliances)

• Transport expenses

• Education expenses

Utilities (Latest 3 months bill)

• Electricity bill

• Water bill

• Telephone bill (1st page only)
