Macleod Townhouses

These townhouses are emblematic of our design philosophy for homes which are visually striking, efficient and most importantly - livable. The corner site gave opportunity for a relatively dense project – Four 170m2 homes on a 600 sqm block. The hownhouses are irregular in that they are not connected at the upper level. This allows natural light into more of each home. It also provides for a reduced visual mass with glimpses through the building every now and then.

The townhouses are generously proportioned with open-plan living, dining and kitchen on ground with bedrooms above. This gives a hierarchy to privacy while still maintaining a welcoming space below.

A dramatic night time atmosphere is created through the illuminated facade. Light is splayed across the facade to give an impression of the night sky above. The white cantilevering masses of the upper floors seem to float over the dark brick below.
