USAGE: The training videos were recorded using PowerPoint. PowerPoints of the video training materials are needed ONLY if you plan on modifying the course content and then exporting a new video (for instance, adding additional exercises or local examples). The first video in the series, "Introduction to the Videos" explains how you can modify a PowerPoint and export a new video. If you don't need to modify a presentation, then you only need to download the Videos, not the PowerPoints.
LARGE FILES: The PowerPoint files are very large since they contain embedded video. Note that because the file sizes are so large, Google Drive will not allow you to view the PowerPoints online, so you will need to download them.
MULTIPLE FILES: As mentioned on the “Videos” page, if you need multiple files, you might want to consider downloading them overnight, setting your computer to not turn off (Power & Sleep Settings in Windows).
To modify video presentations, all the original PowerPoints may be downloaded from Google Drive using this link: TRAINING FOR TRANSLATORS POWERPOINTS.
