Students will be given opportunities as a whole group to earn rewards by using a class Compliment game. Each time students receive a compliment from special area teachers, behave appropriately in the hallway, work hard in class, etc., they will earn a star for our classroom jar. Once students fill the jar they will earn a prize. The students will pick the prize at the beginning of the game. Prizes may include a popcorn snack, extra recess, popsicles, ice cream, game afternoon, etc.
We also have a classroom economy. Students can earn classroom tickets based on behavior, effort, and participation. Classroom tickets can be spent in our twice a month classroom store. They may also save their tickets for bigger prizes. Parents are encouraged to donate items to our classroom store. Some of the favorites in the classroom store are candy, slime, snacks, small stuffed animals, and small toys.
We help students learn.

When you're here, you're home!
All students have a right to learn and a responsibility to allow others to do the same. My class follows the TSC’s, Life Goals:
Treat People Right
Do the Right Thing
We all make mistakes. Mistakes are an opportunity to grow. When a student makes a mistake they are to, accept the consequences, learn from the mistake, and do better next time.
1. Verbal praise
2. Classroom Tickets
3. Reward Coupons for special privileges
4. Group rewards for good behavior
5. Whole Class Coupons/Rewards for good behavior
I believe in teamwork. We will have class and group incentives to work together as a team such as special privileges, extra recess, game day, snacks, etc.
1. Direct eye contact/Verbal Warning
2. Discussion of Behavior Problem with Student
3. If a problem continues, I will give a logical consequence to fit the behavior (based
upon individual student).
4. Loss of Rewards
5. Student and/or teacher will call parent to explain behavior
6. Office Referral
Each student is regarded as an individual; therefore, consequences will be given with this in mind.
