DISCIPLINE PROGRAM FOR MUSIC
RUTH EWIGLEBEN
K, 1 AND 2
First Offense Name in my notebook and warning.
Second Offense Sit in time out area. Student is reminded about behavior.
Third Offense Parents are contacted and a note is sent home with child.
Severe or habitual clause - Child sent to office with behavior sheet.
4TH AND 5TH GRADES
First Offense Name in my notebook and warning.
Second Offense Check mark by name and sit in time out area. Students write a paragraph about their behavior and what they were doing. They also write what they can do next time to prevent a problem or solve a problem about their behavior.
Third Offense Parents are contacted and a note is sent home with child.
Severe or habitual clause- Child sent to office with behavior sheet.
POSITIVES
Students can play the note or notes of the week on the keyboard at the end of class before they line up.
Classes get points for answering questions, asking good questions about the concepts taught and helping other students. 10 points=10 minutes free time in class to sing, listen, play instruments, or dance to favorite music.
