As a very busy mom, I understand the difficulty in making time for homework. Research has also failed to prove that homework improves student performance. I ask that you spend your evenings doing things that correlate with student success. Eat dinner as a family, read together, play learning games, play outside, and get to bed early! Students will be expected to practice spelling skill for the week, practice math facts, and read nightly. Enjoy your evenings!
*One exception - If your child is absent he/she may be expected to complete some work at home*
