In our classroom students are always safe, valued, and encouraged. We follow the TSC guidelines of "Do the right thing!" and "Treat people right!" Students are encouraged daily to use life skills that will benefit them their entire lives. These include: No put-downs, Trust, Truth, Active Listening, Personal Best, Integrity, Initiative, Caring, Perseverance, Common Sense, Friendship, Problem Solving, Flexibility, Patience, Sense of Humor, Curiosity, Organization, Cooperation, Effort, Responsibility, and Resourcefulness. I use children's books and activities to help teach these skills.
