Mr. Hyden's Remote Learning Page
Welcome to remote learning. Our goal is to nurture and maintain skills that the students already possess. On each remote learning day, students should do a reading, math, and a content area assignment. Remote learning is scheduled for April 1, 2, 3, and then every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until May 1, 2020. Most assignments will be posted to the Google Classroom (see links below). Assignments that cannot be posted to the Google Classroom will be posted below under Assignments for Remote Learning.
Self Directed Reading - Student reading was amazing this whole school year! Let's do what we can to keep that up remotely.
- Students should choose a book of their interest and that is not too hard or too easy and read for 40 min. per day.
- Students may take AR Tests at home during remote learning.
- Students can checkout and read eBooks from Destiny.
- Destiny - TSC Online Library - Students will need to login (upper right corner) with their TSC Login and Password.
- Accelerated Reader
- EPIC Reading - Students have access to 1,000's of books. Some books can be read on EPIC and then students can take an AR Quiz.

Daily assignments are found below. Most will be in the Google Classroom. When I am unable to post assignments to the Google Classroom. I will post links below.
Mr. Hyden's Neck of Woods
I'll be posting videos and links to Mr. Hyden's Neck of the Woods once or twice weekly. Most posts will be about the things I find on the creek, in the woods, and other things around the place where I live. Be sure to check it out and look and listen for different activities.
