Grading Policy

A work (A-100%-90%)

• Work is always neat
• Work is finished on time
• Eagerness to participate
• Papers are complete
• Takes pride in work
• Uses time constructively

B and C Work (B-89%-80% / C-79%-70%)

• Work is generally neat
• Work is often finished
• Child participates
• Papers are usually complete
• Takes some pride in work

D and F Work (D-69%-60% / F-59%-0%)

• Shows little concern for neatness
• Seldom finishes work on time
• Is reluctant to participate
• Shows little concern for quality
• Papers are often incomplete

All tests will be graded on a 100% grading scale.

We will be doing a lot of classroom practice work that is not graded. If you see a T on your child’s paper, it means we did the page TOGETHER for practice!

*Grades shown on the Parent Portal may not reflect formative and summative one-on-one assessments. Final grades are adjusted based on oral reading assessments.
