Even though it’s not always thought of as a “subject” in school, behavior and character values (respect, responsibility, cooperation, perseverance, integrity, kindness, etc.) are among the MOST important lessons that I teach in the classroom. First and foremost, I promise to create a safe and open classroom where your child knows it is OKAY to make mistakes! Everyone does, including ME! These are teachable moments for your children and are handled with love!
All students deserve to learn in a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom! Our discipline plan provides guidance so that students can make good choices. The plan emphasizes and rewards good behavior.
Classroom Rules
Obey school rules. This includes following lunchroom, playground, restroom, and hallway procedures.
Be honest, kind, and respectful to others. Also, respect school and personal property.
Listen and follow directions.
Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
Always do your personal best!
