Important Note on Scheduling: The program has a new way of scheduling for pathways this year. After completing your initial registration, you will receive a follow-up link in AUGUST. At that time, students will be able to officially select and schedule the specific morning and afternoon pathways they wish to participate in. Emergency Medical information will also be gathered in August with scheduling.
Click below to see a description of each of the pathways offered in our STEAM program.
Your child’s principal and transportation coordinator will be notified of their participation in the program. Please contact your child’s principal to discuss specific transportation arrangements.
Transportation options available:
Parent/Guardian Transportation: You may drop off and pick up your child at the North Entrance of Lordstown High School. Students must arrive between 8:00 am and 8:15 am and will be dismissed between 1:15 pm and 1:30 pm. Please note: there is no adult supervision before 8:00 am.
District Busing: Your district may provide busing directly to and from Lordstown High School. Please check with your child’s principal for this option.
TCTC Shuttle: Your district may provide busing to the Trumbull Career & Technical Center (TCTC) in Champion. From there, a STEAM staff member will meet your child, and a Lordstown shuttle bus will transport them to and from the program. Please check with your child’s principal to see if your district participates in the shuttle option.
Students are responsible for getting and completing any work they will miss at their home school. We recommend that students get their assignments the day before their scheduled STEAM day.
Free and reduced lunch is honored at Lordstown if your child receives it in their home district. Snacks, drinks, and lunch may be purchased, but only with cash. District school lunch accounts are not available or linked with Lordstown.
