Q: How do I register my child?

Q: When does my child pick their specific classes?
A: After initial registration, you will receive a follow-up link in August to officially select morning and afternoon pathways.
Q: What are the program dates?
A: The program begins the week of September 15, 2026, and concludes the week of November 17, 2026.
Q: What day of the week will my child attend?
A: Students attend one day per week at Lordstown High School based on their district group:
Tentative groups include:
Group A (Tuesdays): Bloomfield-Mespo, Bristol, Brookfield, Champion, Howland, LaBrae, Lakeview, Lordstown, Maplewood, Southington, and Warren (Lincoln & Willard).
Group B (Wednesdays): Girard, Hubbard, Joseph Badger, Liberty, Mathews, McDonald, Niles, Warren (Jefferson & McGuffey), and Weathersfield.
Q: What are the daily hours?
A: Students should arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. for an 8:30 a.m. start. Dismissal is at 1:15 p.m. Please note there is no adult supervision before 8:00 a.m.
Q: How does transportation work?
A: You should contact your child's principal to discuss specific arrangements. Options include:
Parent/Guardian Transport: Drop-off and pick-up at the North Entrance of Lordstown High School.
District Busing: Some districts provide direct busing to Lordstown.
TCTC Shuttle: Some district busses bring students to the Trumbull County Career & Technical Center (TCTC), where a shuttle bus from Lordstown takes them to the program.
Q: What about lunch?
A: Free and reduced lunch status is honored at Lordstown. Otherwise, students may purchase snacks, drinks, and lunch using cash only. District school lunch accounts are not linked to Lordstown.
Q: How do students handle missed schoolwork?
A: Students are responsible for completing work missed at their home school. It is recommended they get their assignments the day before their scheduled STEAM day.
