There will be many areas of opportunity for you to choose from in your search for the most convenient area for you to fit into the program. Included in these are Hospitality, Uniforms, Transportation, Spirit, Chaperones, as well the Rough Rider Marching Contest. The fundraising events that we hold and the money earned through these events is vital to the Roosevelt Band Program, so it is important that you do your part. When called upon to volunteer, we thank you and appreciate that you do this cheerfully. The benefit to the band program will prove to be worth the time and effort.  In fact, the concessions income for example, helps to offset the cost of the program which allows Roosevelt Band’s Assessment Fee to remain low. Every event/presentation the band takes part in is a great opportunity to meet your fellow band parents, learn more about what your student is actually doing in band, and be more involved in your child’s life.

We are excited about the coming 2025-2026 school year and have many events lined up or in the planning stages that will give us critical fund-raising opportunities to support our band program.

What we need more than anything is for all band parents to step up and help out in any way they can!  Don’t wait for someone else.  Any amount of time and help will be welcomed and appreciated.
