Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator
Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator is... well, a spaceship bridge simulator. Did you ever watch Star Trek and wish you could be on the bridge crew, off on dangerous missions across the galaxy? That's Artemis.
The software itself will run on any Windows XP or newer PC built since 2008, and that's a good thing 'cause you'll need 6 of them all connected in the same network for best results. Have a few Android or iOS devices kicking around? There's an Artemis app for that! Each PC or tablet acts as a single station on the ship, with a designated set of tasks. The Captain coordinates all the stations and ensures everyone works together.
Artemis Missions, Tools, and Docs
Here is a collection of goodies I've worked on for Artemis.
- Artemis QuickStart Guides for v2.7.1
- Escape-Room style mission with narration: Battle at Vanguard aka LTE Bridge Experience 1 design guide and working script.
- Thrustmaster HOTAS control configurations for Helm and Fighters with Joy2Key: settingoverlays.zip and get more information from the wiki at http://artemiswiki.pbworks.com/w/page/94528763/Joystick
- Artemis Armada IV mission scripts, from the original forum source with edits as necessary
Our main Artemis bridge hosting site is at www.Jump2Warp.com - see our upcoming events!
Artemis via VMware Player, SplashTop, and Luck!
My first foray into Artemis led to some experimentation in running Artemis under VMware Player and Splashtop. At the time, the iOS and Android versions of Artemis were not yet complete.
Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator with Tablets, VMware, and SplashTop is documentation on how this work(ed).
Here's a Artemis Mission Pack I'm maintaining in the forum with a bunch of user-created missions.
